Ed Drake is Britain's number one male Alpine skier, and now uses CoolBoard in his training after realising the benefits.
He has already pre qualified for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, is currently ranked within the world's top 50 and at 23, is ranked sixth in the world for his age - all this from a resident of Kingston-upon-Thames, south-west London.
Yet at 23, he is only just beginning his ski racing career - research shows that male skiers peak at 32 years of age. He is in the vanguard of Britain's new generation of ski racers, which looks like being the most successful for many decades and he's been winning national championships for many years.
"I want to be an Olympian and ultimately my main goal is to win it. You've got to shoot high."
Ed Drake commented that 'Being in the Olympics is something that I have dreamed about since I first pulled on a start bib. I would have not been able to realise this dream without my family, friends, sponsors and supporters. The Olympic Games are the pinnacle of our sport, that is where I plan to bring out my best performance!
