Liam Turner -

...now hooked on CoolBoard.

Born in '95, Liam's been around for less time than most of us have been surfing, and he's already putting most of us to shame! Check out his skills here...

Liam's dad Lewis was a professional surfer, now sells surf boards, and is helping his son to make a career off of the waves. Liam for his part is obviously committed, he surfs and trains daily, and his natural talent (see photos!) combined with his dad's knowhow should take him all the way.

Recognising CoolBoard as the ultimate surf sim, Lewis wanted to get Liam onto a CoolBoard to help him achieve his goals. We have happily chucked him a CoolBoard, which he now uses everyday as part of his training.

What they have found surprising is what a great general fitness tool CoolBoard is, and they now use it for most of their specific core and upper-body work.

Liam trains daily with many experienced professionals and attends Mike Ravens 'Raven Surf School'. Mike picks a handful of the best under 16 surfers in the south and invites them to join his élite squad with the simple goal of putting UK surfers at the top of the world. Liam was picked this year, and his place is guaranteed for next... here's a clip of the Raven squad doing their stuff, and 4/5s of the way through using Liam's CoolBoard...
